The Federal Government not only required business requirements for IT and new business processes, their projects had a unique twist: a silo-ed workforce. Our projects helped to remedy these situations.
Current state environments in the federal government consisted of many siloed departments which, up until our projects, had not collaborated together to strengthen operations or share knowledge at each group or administration. We were able to get SMEs together in one room and have them focus and model out one specific project and model purpose, simply by following our methodology and walking through each future state business activity and validating that activity’s applicable purpose. In the end, we delivered business requirements for IT or dramatically improved procedures.
We have also helped in this sector by training teams on our methodology and engaged with these clients via the provision of modeling software that made their lives much easier in their own BPM endeavors.
